A watercolour print of the lost village of Llanwddyn, Montgomeryshire, Powys.
In the 1880s, the original village was submerged to create the reservoir now known as Lake Vyrnwy. A whole community displaced, homes and histories resting beneath the water — another poignant reminder of how progress can come at a very human cost.
The painting is ink drawn first then painted using top quality watercolour paints.
