Original Water colour painting of the lost church of St Johns, Llanwddyn, Montgomeryshire, Powys.
In the 1880s, the original village was submerged to create the reservoir now known as Lake Vyrnwy. A whole community displaced, homes and histories resting beneath the water — another poignant reminder of how progress can come at a very human cost.
Painting is ink drawn first then painted using top quality watercolour on A4 Archers 100% cotton cold press paper.
